New Jersey - Motor Vehicle Commission

Mathtech was engaged by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) to be the Oversight Vendor for the MATRX project.  The project’s goal was the complete modernization of all primary computer systems including foundation technologies such as database, content management, rules engine, interface and print engines as well as all core functionality including:  Driver Licensing, Driver History, Title & Registration, Business Licensing, Finance, and Third Party Information Sharing.  The legacy system was a 25 year old mainframe/COBOL system with all of the typical flexibility, expandability, and maintenance problems.
