New Jersey – Child Welfare System Implementation

Mathtech was awarded the contract for Planning Vendor for New Jersey’s Department of Children and Families, Division of Youth and Family Services (DCF/DYFS) Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS). 

Services Provided
 

Mathtech's role was to assist the State in writing the Advanced Planning Document (APD) for 50 percent Federal funding match; in addition, Mathtech provided assistance with the development of the Request for Proposal (RFP) to enable the State to select and hire a systems integration firm for implementation of the system.  As part of the RFP development effort, the Mathtech team also performed requirements analysis and definition in addition to assessing SACWIS vendors and solutions in the industry.  Mathtech also played a role in the IV&V team providing Project Management Services for the SACWIS NJ SPIRIT project.
